Shakespeares Sister
is the band Siobhan Fahey formed after she left the iconic Bananarama in 1988. Initially a solo project, Shakespears Sister developed into a duo, when Marcella Detroit was asked to join Fahey in the studio and help her with the songwriting. Two top 10 albums followed and with «Stay» they scored a worldwide No.1 hit. In 1995 the pair split again, leaving Fahey on her own, but still recording under the same project name.
