Polly Scattergood
The twenty-something was born and raised near Colchester and began concocting her bittersweet brew aged 11 when she found a guitar under the stairs in her parent’s house. Built around fractious yet pretty guitar and piano (she plays a Stylophone and accordion, too), Polly’s peculiar talent has brought comparisons with Kate Bush.
Has many happy memories for me.
I don’t cook much, and when I do I have to concentrate very hard not to burn it. So I don’t listen to music at the same time!
This is one of my favorite songs and it’s written by Leonard Cohen who is one of my favorite writers.
This always makes me run faster.
I just love it as a tune. It's so cheeky.
As it’s a great tune to watch the world go by.
Because it sounds beautiful with an open road ahead.
Because for someone who isn’t much of a morning person, it’s the only way to start a day!
I don’t listen to music while washing my hair. As in my experience electrical equipment and water cause problems!
