Mr Scruff
is the Greater Manchester based DJ/producer and cartoonist Andy Carthy. He is releasing music since 1995, first on legendary Rob Records, now on prestigious Ninja Tune. His style is very hard to pin down, but on all of his albums are several tracks about fish and marine life. His sample-based music has been used in various occasions for commercials, series and TV shows.
