Living Things
is the band by Lillian Berlin and his two siblings Eve Berlin (bass guitar) and Bosh Berlin (drums), along with childhood friend Cory Becker on guitar. The St. Louis alternative rock band have released three highly acclaimed albums so far. Lillian Berlin also wrote a book about his childhood («Post Mortem Bliss») and once got stabbed in his leg while crowd surfing.

(Motown, 1970). A record of truth.
(Capitol, 1970). The perfect one-man-band album. He recorded this after the break up with the Beatles all on his own at his home studio, performing all of the instruments himself. It's a goddamn masterpiece!
(Capitol, 1970). Best live album ever.
(Atlantic, 1971). Beause it’s Led Zeppelin IV! Ha! Well, and also because of the song «Going To California». One of the reasons why I lived in LA for some years.
(Reprise, 1977). Stevie Nicks got the sexiest voice ever recorded. Period!
(Geffen, 1993). My rite of passage. Every youth needs to get through his Nirvana phase.
(Capitol, 1966). This is just a beautiful album. The most classical pop music ever. And it teaches you a lot about the right use of harmonies and song structures.
(Capitol, 1969). I love how it all flows perfectly into each other. Especially the second side.
(Capitol, 1973). The best record to get stoned to. Besides Bob Dylans’ «Like A Rolling Stone», of course.
