Jesper Dahlbäck
is the most important techno and house producer of Sweden. Even at the age of 17 he recorded his first tracks, founded later the worldwide influential house imprint Svek and toured as a DJ all around the globe. He received two Swedish Grammys for his album «Stockholm» – an homage to his hometown. Since he suffers from tinnitus he stopped DJing and is only producing music.
Stockholm is defenitly a love/hate city. Some want to escape, some will do anything to move here. No matter where I go, I will always have a place for my hometown in my heart. It’s a small big city, a modern village with everything one needs. It is also easy to leave for the country when the streets are getting to small.
