Gemma Ray
could be a character out of a Film Noir. The singer/songwriter from Essex fought a mysterious disease and spent two years in hospital. After she finally recovered she recorded her debut «The Leader» and gahtered rhapsodic reviews. On her second album she still swells in darkness but improves her songwriting to a surprising degree.
