Blow Monkeys
Dr. Robert was – no, he is the singer of Scottish band The Blow Monkey. Next to Curiosity Killed The Cat, Prefab Sprout and Swing Out Sister one of the masterminds of sophisticated pop music, which had its heydays in the mid-80’s. The band transformed from New Wave to chart topping pop and finally came to an end as a Balearic dance music act in 1990. Dr. Robert released six solo albums in the meantime. They reunited in 2007.
